Gaye E. Jarzabek, RN, BSN

Gaye E. Jarzabek, RN, BSN, is the Practice Manager for Pain Diagnostics and Interventional Care. She received her BSN from Duquesne University and also has completed credits towards her MSN at Duquesne. Gaye has been working with Dr. Provenzano for eight years in this role. Her prior work experience includes manager and director roles in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine at various Pittsburgh area hospitals. Gaye enjoys working with spinal cord stimulator patients and has co-authored two articles with Dr. Provenzano on the subject. In addition to spinal cord stimulation, Gaye has helped to develop other treatment options for Pain Diagnostic and Interventional Care patients, to include Botox injections for various pain states as well as kyphoplasty for the treatment of acute compression fractures. Gaye possesses both ACLS and PALS certifications. She is a member of the American Society for Pain Management Nursing (ASPMN).

Natalia Romanoff, MPAS, PA-C

Natalia grew up in the small and cold Siberian city of Chernogorsk, Russia.  She had the chance to come to the United States as a high school exchange student and obtained her diploma from Eagle Grove High in Iowa.  Her excellent academic performance allowed her to continue her undergraduate studies on a full academic scholarship at Brigham Young University.  Not long after graduation, she moved to Philadelphia where she worked as an office manager in a corporate dental office and found great attraction to patient care.  Following this experience she moved to Seattle to be closer to her sister who was living in Vancouver, Canada.

Natalia then earned a phlebotomy certificate and consequently a degree as a Surgical Technician from Seattle Central College.  She worked for a period of three years at the nationally recognized Swedish Hospital before gaining acceptance into the competitive University of Pittsburgh’s Physician Assistant program.  She now resides in the Pittsburgh area and has joined our practice, where she looks forward to achieving her long desire to provide direct patient care.  In Natalia’s own words:  “I am glad to join this practice to build long-lasting patient relationships.”

Jessica Russell, RN

Jessica Russell is a Registered Nurse at Pain Diagnostics and Interventional Care. She graduated from UPMC Shadyside Hospital in 2001. Jessie practiced as a medical-surgical nurse for several years before working in pain management. She has more than 10 years of experience in pain management and has worked with Dr. Provenzano since 2006. Her hobbies include water skiing, hunting and fishing.

Kacy Hesser, RN

Kacy Hesser is a Registered Nurse at Pain Diagnostics and Interventional Care.  She graduated from Community College of Beaver County in 2002. Kacy has several years experience in Critical Care and Cardiac Cath Lab.  Kacy is excited to have joined the team at Pain Diagnostics and Interventional Care and looks forward to providing quality and compassionate care to patients.  Kacy possesses ACLS certification.   Kacy enjoys time with family, her dog and gardening.


Kelly has been working with Dr. Provenzano for 6 years as the administrative assistant.  She brought to the practice her knowledge and experience from working 10 years with health care insurances and billing as well as over 20 years in customer service.

Kara McCracken

Kara McCracken is a Certified Medical Assistant at Pain Diagnostics and Interventional Care.  She has been a  medical assistant for over 20 years.  She has worked in Cardiology, Pulmonology, and Family Medicine before joining Pain Diagnostics and Interventional Care in March of 2016.
